Hof van Saksen is a luxury holiday resort in Drenthe, famous for its spectacular indoor water slides—including some of the longest and steepest in the world. Thousands of guests daily enjoy water fun in an environment where design, comfort, and safety converge.

The challenge

The Hof van Saksen slides are real eye-catchers and attract visitors of all ages year-round. Due to intensive use and constant contact with water, temperature fluctuations, and cleaning agents, regular maintenance is essential to ensure safety and longevity.

Our approach

During this project, we carried out an extensive inspection and maintenance round on several slides in the resort, including the popular Intenso, Presto and Bombo.

 

Our work included:

  • Visual and technical inspection of sliding surfaces, seams and attachment points
  • Cleaning and polishing the sliding surface for a smooth and safe ride
  • Repair minor damage and seams with special water-resistant materials
  • Checking water flow and safety features
  • Documentation and certification according to applicable European standards

The Result

After the project, all slides at Hof van Saksen were re-inspected and certified.

  • The sliding surfaces are smooth, clean and safe again.
  • The technical installations meet the highest safety standards.
  • The resort can confidently welcome thousands of guests per day.
